Does anyone have any interest in this field vs regular VR?

My research area touches upon AR and as such i'm thinking about picking up a Meta2 headset as and when they actually release the thing to have a play with it.

What are your thoughts?

Are as augmented reality? If so I used to love it on the 3ds and vita. Wasn't aware that there are going to be head sets for it

Yeah Augmented Reality, the Meta2 is the "affordable" option out of the current in development headsets. M$ Hololens is almost 3x as expensive, there is another i found the other day but can't remember now.

MagicLeap also looks incredibly interesting but there is very little tangible information on it just yet.
