Randomly when using ARC to pass sound from my LG TV to my Onkyo Amp I get short audio cut out. eg: 1 second or so... I can now reproduced this at will by turn light switches on/off. 50% of the time I'll get an audio cut out. I suspect other devices coming on/off might also be causing it too?
So clearly audio interference seems to be upsetting the TV/AMP. Note: I've never had any other audio cut outs other than via this connection (ARC).
Any suggestions?
Can I buy some sort of filter to maybe clear up the mains power to the TV/AMP?
If I use optical instead of ARC will I be losing anything sound wise (eg: From Plex's audio to the Amp)? - I have a 5.1 speaker setup on the Onkyo
This is an LG OLED 55E7 to an Onkyo TX-NR646.
