RESOLVED - Arcade Stick, Qanba Q1 - Having problems - RESOLVED
Hey All,
so i bought the xbox/pc version.
when trying to install the driver by putting the usb into the pc it gives me an error saying it wasn't installed correctly, ive tried all of my ports, same thing. tried it on my sisters pc and it worked fine which really annoyed me, just installed the drivers no problem.. i have searched for the drivers online but had little to no success, some forum said to install the xbox controller driver, did that & no luck.
picture for reference
i'm sure that somewhere along the way the problem is my pc and not the stick as it installed on my sisters pc.
any help is greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

just an update of the fix that worked for me, took me weeks to find it, so trying to make it more known!
i did panic and end up sending the qanba q1 stick back & buying the amazing and better razer atrox stick & did the following (i am 100% sure that the same problem with any qanba, madcatz, hori stick etc will work)
as you can see in my case my pc registers the stick as a headset but works perfectly fine now for PC (USF4).
my friend also recently bought a new pc & had the exact same problem & this fix worked for his razer atrox too, hope this helps!

This worked for me.
"First go to http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en...er-for-windows and download and install the driver for your OS.
Then go into the Device Manager, locate the controller, right click it and click Properties > Driver > Update Driver. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" and then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer". Here you select the Microsoft Common XBox Controller (something like that) category and then the newest driver that fits the controller. In my case it was "XBox 360 Controller for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349"."
