The fact that there was no category that Arcane could be nominated in for the TV section of this years Golden Globes awards is saddening. You'd think this should at the extreme least get some major award for its animation but whilst there is a Best Animated Movie category there is no Best Animated TV series category.

Man this thing is GORGEOUS in every scene.
6 eps in I think and literally the only criticism I have is that Jinx is a little too 'Harley Quinn'.
In a world of magic and nonsense, she is the most unbelievable thing in it and gets dangerously close to being the modern TV trope of an unstoppable woman who's amazing at everything.
Other than that, top marks.
Will recommend this to anyone who'll listen

Compared to Harley Jinx who can fist fight almost at the same level as Vi, is the greatest tinkerer ever, takes on whole squads of raiders single handedly, outwits everyone she lays her eyes on and unlocked the ability to use magic blue balls while living in a slum when it took the combined brains of Viktor and Jayce years in an actual lab?
You know, now I write it out, she's actually a lot worse than I originally thought.

Its not quite that simple but I think Jinx gets away with it because shes not just OP and perfect in every way.
Mylo who seems to be the leader of quite a large group of people who have created an amazing little paradise and created their own hover boards and who can go toe to toe with Jinx.
Does it take them years to figure out how to use the blue ball or does it just take them years to perfect and make it safe. Its the difference between inventing a battery and being able to use it up to a point. Yes Jinx is OP but its not quite as bad as you suggest.

Just started watching this on the recommendation of a few friends. I was very tired and meant to get an early night but ended up awake until 1am after watching 6 episodes. It's bloody marvellous! My only complaint is the Imagine Dragons theme song, but then that's what the Skip Intro button is for.

When i saw the trailer I was skeptical of the art style and my assumption is that was a cash grab due to the link to the video game.
I was wrong. The visuals are brilliant, the animations are top notch. I wonder if the animations were done by the same in house team that has done their music videos.
The characters were great and as someone mentioned earlier it was nice to see that they were shades of grey rather than straight black and white. I enjoyed the story, though a few times it was a bit difficult to tell how much time had past between events but that's minor.
Is season 2 confirmed to continue on or will they be exploring the back story of other heroes?

The fight between Ekko and Jink was visually and musically brilliant. The cinematic was fantastic. The facial expressions during the fight was awesome. Originally i didn't like that they changed the artstyle but now I think it works really well. I have rewatched it many times.

I just remembered
the scene were Finn goes to betray Silco. The setup for this was brilliant. I legit thought Silco was dead and he did to. You can see the relief on Silco's face when realises that he is still alive.
