I bought Foundations of Metropolis the other day, after getting it home, punching out the cardboard one bit had a manufacturing defect.

Contacted Arcane Wonders through their webform with the issue, about a week later got a whole red board replacement.

So really happy with that and would be nice if more publishers were that good with replacement parts.

I was given Imperial Assault for Christmas a couple of years ago and one of the minis was missing and a duplicate of another in its place. Everything I read online said it was a nightmare getting replacements but I filled out a form online and the correct one arrived about a month later. It came from outside the UK, so was very happy with that.

Similarly, any issues I have had with CMON have been resolved without hassle. The length of time depending on whether or not the game was part of a KS campaign (that usually took a bit longer due to them dealing with more issues).

I think the only company that ever disappointed me was Mantic but there were many issues with that particular KS. They did offer me a refund but stupidly I chose to wait and see if the game became what it was supposed to be.

In my experience it is rare for a company in any field not to resolve issues if you are polite and have reasonable expectations and patience. The exception being cars, always takes way to long and usually with plenty of denial if the dealer is at fault :p.

I picked up Skyrim last year. Opened it up to find part of the board ripped.
Contacted Modiphius for a replacement but it never arrived. Went back to them after a month in case they had forgotten to send it and a week later, the play mat turned up.
About a month after that, the original board they sent arrived with a date stamp from my original request. Quick service even if it got lost for a bit and they covered it with something even better.
