Played the demo, voice acting is so bad it's good, the framerate is total bobbins, looks ugly and pretty at the same time and it's fantastic.
It's just like risen, a real rough diamond and one of my favourite games of last year.

They seem to have simplified a lot of things, you can carry as much as you like, you can cook and craft anywhere. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but playing on a difficulty higher than "normal" should balance it out.
There is no save function on the xbox demo, just so you know in advance, make sure you have an hour or so to play it through because you can't save.
The pc demo looks loads better, it's still a system hog but runs at a higher framerate on my rig (q6600 @ 2.4ghhz (dropped my overclock as I play games on my xbox mostly nowadays), 5870, 4gb ram).
Going to get the xbox version as I want to sit back and play with the controller, you can play with the controller on pc but you still have to keep using the keyboard and mouse for some things and you can't invert the y axis (I'm one of the very small percentage that does this )
So, any thoughts on this? Anyone else played the demo?
