Arch Linux - EeePC

Does anyone know if a derivative of Arch has been made for the Eee? I've always wanted to use it on mine, but don't have the time to learn it, and build it all myself.

I'd have thought that, due to the wide number of people using netbooks and the pretty standard software, somebody would have built one and stuck it in an ISO, but Google doesn't bring anything up.

Anyone know of anything like this?

if you havent got time to learn and build stuff manually then id say Arch is the wrong distro choice

I used to use it on mine several months ago and it worked very well. There is a special kernel for the Eee i think, but depending on the model the default Arch install may well just work straight out the box.

There are various Eee specific kernels in the AUR that might be worth looking at, but short answer is, yes it will work (and it's an awesome distro)
