Archos AV440 Battery

Good morning,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, so mods please move it if necessary.

I am the proud owner of an Archos AV440 MP3/Divx player. Unfortunately the internal battery has died a slow death and will no longer power on for more than a few moments.

Does anyone know where i could get one?

BTW - it's not the external battery that you can swap over on the smaller 20Gb model. This one's actually sealed inside the unit.

i would do, but i've heard horrendous stories about Archos repairs.

items taking months and months to be returned to the person.

i'd rather swap the battery myself as i can't imagine it's much more complicated than removing a few screws.
