Arctic 5 Question

Guys,

Can anyone tell me if Arctic 5 "Goes Off"? I used mine about 18 months ago, and im just getting a new setup , I squeezed some out today and it seems very thick.. I cant remember it being like that when I last used it. Should I just buy some new stuff? or do you think its lost some of its thermal ability?

Or should I just stick with what I have?

Should be fine tbh.

I've had tubes of AS5 and Ceramique lying around for years and they've still worked perfectly.

I had a tube left in a desk pen holder (right way up) for months and when I went to use it oil seemed to come out to start with like it had seperated?

The rest seemed OK though

I see - as I said oil came out first but the rest seemed OK

I've ordered some MX-2 to see what that's like next week

I know a little OTT but never had a problem having ensured lid snug on & place in small airtight(ish) sealed plassy bag.
seems to keep good indef.
