Arctic cooler 64 on a DFI Ultra D? help pls

Hi all, just setting up my Ultra D and my freezzer 64 pro... and the mounting on the mobo puts the fan on the heatsink facing up or down, as opposed to back out of the back of my pc?!

is this right? surely not? there are npo holes to re socket down the cpu plastic heatsink mount? and my gfx card is very close to the fan niow?!

can anyone help?

just taken it off, had a look, thought it didnt go the other way, and re-set it back the way it was after screwing it back incorrectly and being unable to mount it argg!!!

thanks for the images! i am still not sure how the lug sits on the bottom of the heatpipe bit because it doesnt seem to fit with the little bumps in the holes the way it does when u recieve it?

do you need to turn around the whole copper heatpipe bit, or just the detachable metal attachment thingy

cant bring myself to attach/detach again

will re-do when i move cases next week!

come on, someone must have done this kind of stuff?1

do you need to rotate the black peiece of plastic to align the "nobby" bits or does that maintain the same position and just move the bracket type bits? because the thing seems like an oblong as opposed to a square, and thus the nobbly bits dont line up when i rotate thebracket?!
