I found it tricky. If I'd known how tricky, I'd have taken the mobo out before I tried to change over, I'd have been quicker

With the IHS removed off my CPU, I found the tension with the AC to be pretty much perfect. Easy enough to get on while still providing good contact.

I fitted one today and didn't find it that bad. I had more problems with trying to re-position some of my cables so as to allow for better air-flow

Mine was quite hard to fit as well, as there is a row of capacitors on my K8N mobo, right under where the clip goes.

You're absolutely right, it is.
The 64 Pro is on the 4000+ San Diego - I remember now, I got the 64 Pro because the freezer 4 was so good on the Northwood (it was on a Prescott originally, until I killed it).
