Arctic cooler freezer 7 "loud"

Just got an Arctic cooler freezer 7 for my P4 D 930 3 ghz and its real LOUD.

Is there a better cooler "NOT SO LOUD" or can i modift the fan on this one....

Could i run this cooler with no fan ?

If i unplug the fan my system is near enough silent thats how i want it.......

Shouldnt be loud at all. You could run it without a fan if you dont mind your processor expiring.

Yeah its loud alright too loud for my liking. My previous P4 system on full fan chat was near enough silent compared to this.....

MAKE IT QUIETER PLEASE........

o and i wont unplug the fan

I would'nt say that, The fan just runs but with noise. It does not sound like a bad fan.

Can the fan be changed ? or should i buy another cooler?

Yours is slightly louder than my freezer pro but mine is barely audible which is why i think yours is faulty.

I can feel the vibration from the fan through my mouse on my desktop ?

Fan must be out of balance then - check and make sure its mounted correctly.

Looks ok to me had a wiggle and it seems fine

Sounds very much like a faulty fan to me. If you're getting vibrations then send it back.

Normally, this is an excellent cooler and virtually inaudible. What are the temps your getting with it at the moment? It may be that the fan really isnt working properly.

Personally, I'd RMA it and see where you are after that.

Sorted it now (i think)
Metal plate in case was touching cooler causing vibration.

Still no as quite as i was expecting.

MY Gainward "goes like hell" 6800GS has a noisy fan that dont help.

MY processor Temp in the bios is reading 15 degress IS THAT RIGHT ?
Seems very low. The NB & Power are reading 42 degress.

No that's not right. It can't be cooled below room temp.
