Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro and odd ATX Power placement
Hmm, I should have probably checked this before, but I've just gotten a BFG mobo and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro.
Only problem is that on this particular motherboard, the power sockets are in a bit of an odd place, between the CPU and the backplate where all the ports are.
So if I mount the ACF64 to blow air out of the back of the case (where there are 2 exhaust fans), its going to blow right over the power cables.
Is there any risk in this apart from it possibly restricting airflow out of the case?
I may still be able to place the cables such that I loop them over the path of the air coming out of the ACF64, but I wondered if anyone has encountered any similar issues with other boards?
