arctic cooling accelero vs vf700/vf900

ive read over 15 reviews on the accelero nearley all the sites recomended it only 2 didnt in two of the reviews it beat the vf700 for noise and temps this is always debatable depending on your system and reviewers of course

ive just brought the accelero x1 myself fitted it tonite after running aload of stock tests on normal cooler tomorrow ill get testing the accelero

but if i was to buy again it would be the vf700 just on looks lol
 
hmmmm

I personally don't like the accelero mainly because it looks like it will dump all of the heat onto the chipset area of the motherboard.

I think They should have just improved the design of the Silencer.
 
well just fitted my accelero x1 and its down 4 degrees idle and and a very nice 12 degrees of loaded temps still got some more playing around to do yet oh and its very silent

this is in a lian li pc7 case at the same time i changed the 2 stock 120 mm fans for ambers cpu temp went down 2 degrees aswell but need to 7volt the ambers now as i can here them over eveything else when before it was the graphics card stock cooler

so they dont vent to outside the case then ? like the stock coolers
 
I got a VF900 today so will install tonight and compare temps to the stock cooler for the X1900XTX. I had a 9800XT before this new rig, and put the VF700 on it, it made a massive amount of difference to both noise and temps so I'm expecting good things of this...
