Guys i am having some slight trouble fitting this thing. In the instructions it says something about unscrewing the handle lever, why do you need to do this, cant you just snap the freezer on both side of the mounts attach the fan wire and off you go?

Thats what i done, I didnt do any unscrewing and seems to work ok. just clipped it in and moved the little lever to the side.

Sorry to sort of hijack, but when the clip is fastened, is it normal for the clip to rest at a slight angle leaning away from the cooler?

no it shouldnt. hook the side under that doesnt have the level then apply force to push it down flat and hook it on pressing the level down. I thought it was quite easy to fit compaired to my old thermaltake HSF (when one side was clipped down just as i did the other it would pop off. i neally put a hole through my motherboard with a screwdriver after trying for over an hour to get it fitted)

I have one that does the exact same thing. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to sit "square". It is fastened securely but looks odd. As I did this with the board out of the case (removable tray) I could apply as much pressure as I had to and had nothing preventing me "fixing" it. But I couldn't.

I checked that both sides were clipped well onto the lug of the baracket and they were. Cooling performance is pretty sweet. Running a 146 at 280*10 today (jacking it up 100mhz per day) and it's at 41'c load, 32'c idle. Volts at 1.465.

Mine does the exact same thing, sort of leans towards the heatsink, but is fastened securely and cools the CPU so I guess something must be right!

Yep, mines the same :-)

I actually took it apart so I could move the lever to the other side as the side it normally sits on was too close to my psu. The lever does have a slight bend to it.

By the way,

Has anyone tried removing the stock fan, and adding one of the 120MM Delta's ?

There are rubber mountings holding the fan on, and i dont want to break it lol

i would agree that it is a bugger to fit - did it the other night and had a fair old hassle getting it to clip on one side. Had to remove my psu to be able to get it to fit. Keep trying it will fit!!! - idle temps now down 3 degrees to 29 and load temps @ 41 down about 4/5 degrees so quite happy!
