Ok I never posted this before although I have known about this cooler from last years CES.

Not sure what happened but it never got by the Prototype but someone over on XS finally got a reply recently after AC ignored him before.

The 90mm Coolers they make are very good for what they are, so this 8 pipe 120mm Monster should be sweet.

Quoted :

" Arctic Cooling has a new CPU cooler available called the Freezer Extreme that features 8 heat pipes, 226 fins and pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste. It also features a push pin installation which eliminates the need for screws which is something new for their coolers.

It's constructed out of aluminum, keeping the weight to a minimum and the heatpipes act as a stabilzer for the large number of fins on this beast. Arctic Cooling estimates a February launch and they are currently in production. "

Hope the method aint push pins only for 775 Mobo's.

The major reason why the Freezer 7 is so popular is the fact its so good for so little money. I have a feeling they will fail if they begin to compete with the £30+ CPU coolers, which this looks like it might be.

I used " Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro's " on all customers builds and they are great, even cools a AM2 6000+ at 50% Fan Speed with 100% Fan Speed when needed Auto by temps from Speedfan.

Ideally I would not have used it but the peep wouldnt buy a £35+ cooler so I told him its down to him if it runs too hot, which it dont but higher than it could be esp at 50% Fan Speed.
