On this heatsink do you have to put thermal paste on all the heatpipes like it says in the instructions or just normal blob or line. Never done thermal paste before.

Do it as the instructions say, the additional paste you use on the pipes is to make sure you get good contact between them (as the heatpipes make an uneven surface).
