Just recently upgraded CPU, MB & RAM. Even though I have a Corsair Hydro H80i liquid cooler, I am doing a trial of my Arctic Fan cooler on this 6700 CPU, and it seems to be doing a good job of keeping the CPU at the right temp. I had the Arctic fan on my previous CPU i7-2700. The only thing, that even though the fan IS working fine, it does not register as running on the Asus fan control monitor or the bios? My previous MB a Sabertooth Z77, monitored the fan as running. This is a mystery? Anyway, not sure whether I should bother installing the Corsair H80i to replace the Arctic fan. Maybe I should?
