I'm abit confused on how these fans are supposed to be mounted for intake.

Have a few of these fns going into a BitFenix Shinobi.

Does anyone have experience with these fans that can help ?

Hi,
Yeah I use the F12 Pro's and as far as I know the "Pro" version are specifically for exhaust because of the way they are mounted. If you're looking for an intake version get the standard Arctic F12 and not the PRO edition as these can be mounted for intake or exhaust. :)

What is the pressure rating on these fans? Any good for radiators?

Dunno, but they're not terrible.
I'd rather get these and stick them on a fan controller if your mobo doesn't control 3pin. Could just use voltage reducers I s'pose.

I'll either be using the stock Arctic Accelero Hybrid fan or a Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM. As i have two GT's already on my H100i im leaning more towards that for the complete GT look. Cos you know all dem bitches love GT's.

How does it compare to a GT Pete? I don't understand its pressure rating in comparison.

I have two F12 PWM fans on my H80i and they work very well and are nice and quite.

But how do they compare to the legendary and super sexy GT 1850's? I just can't believe they would be better in terms of static pressure and noise to performance ratio. I know Arctic fans are good, the accelero fans taught me that.

I think we need to add price into the static pressure and noise to performance ratio equation. I'm sure the GT1850's are hand down better, but they are £14.98 and F12 PWM is £4.39.. Less than a third the price; 29% as much; £10.59 cheaper..

Being able to say "they work very well and are nice and quiet" for £4.39 is pretty amazing.

I'm sure it is but seeing as i will own both soon price doesn't come into this.

Will you be comparing them? If so please let us know how they compare.
Those of us who do not have either and need some good fans would find your knowledge useful.

I could do yes, but that depends on if i can be bothered. I really want to use the GT as i have some already but im not sure how the static pressure of the Arctic fan compares to the GT. Its a shame the Arctic fan is not worth more as id probably end up selling it on the MM otherwise. :p

I was tempted to buy some just for fun and than decide what to do with them too. But I have too many bits and pieces already setting around. SWMBO would probably kill me if I did. :)

If you have the time and to play with them please let us know.

They keep my CPU under 75.c full load and are nice and quite. I run both from my mainboard PWM cou header. Never had any GT 1850 fans so no idea how they compare.

Tbh for under £5 each they work really well. The cables are a bit naff and cheap looking but they work very well for me on my H80i.

Mine are not the pro's just the normal pwm ones. They work fine and are quite so I'm happy. I doubt they push as much air as the stock h80i fans but they are 1/8th the noise.

I wouldn't want the pro model. Not as versatile only being able to mount them from one side. I assume they are running full speed at 75c? What CPU? any overclock? I'm just snoopy. ;)

When i used the arctics, the max temp on my i7 was 75c under p95. The TRUE is a fairly thick cooler and has quite densely spaced fins, so it does benefit from fans with decent pressure like some rads. Arctic also used to produce a black 1500 rpm PWM fan.

Theese were pretty good, though they were a bit more expensive. Both though feature a daisy chain connector to allow running multiple fans from the cpu header.
