Arctic Freezer 64 Pro?

Im considering getting one of these as I want to get my Athlon 3700+ to 2.8Ghz and keep the temps well below 60c, is this Cooler any good - Arctic Freezer 64 Pro? i currently have stock cooling and its at 2.53ghz
 
I've just replaced my Opty 146 retail HSF with the Artic pro because they were on special offer. TBH, I was a little disappointed as it has only dropped my temps by 1-2 degrees (there's nothing wrong with the fit)

Maybe it takes a while to 'bed in' but I'm starting to think it wasa bit of a waste of money and effort.

I'm currently getting 46C Idle rising to 51C after an hour running Prime
 
I'm really torn between getting one of these, as i've seen just as many bad comments as i've seen good... ATM my system hits 55c under full load with prime95, am hoping that the freeze64 pro would lower the temp significantly... :rolleyes:
 
Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2.5ghz @ 1.55v

Room Temp 21c
Case temp 27c
CPU Idle 32c
CPU full load 36c

Arctic freezer pro ;) , only been in there a day or so, not had time for the thermal paste to set in properly.

If you doubt how good this thing is... heres a screenshot of me running it passively

I let it run for another 10 minutes and it went to 42c

Ignore the voltages they are way out :p
