Arctic Freezer 7 Pro rev. 2 on a Gigabyte MA770-UD3 mobo:

The heatsink is tight up against the RAM module in slot 1 - so tight it's actually nudging it over by about a millimetre. Anyone else have this issue?

I installed it just now, and kept the pre-applied thermal compound on the base - if I now unscrew it to sort the RAM problem out, will it be okay to replace without getting new compound?

I'm guessing that my RAM will run okay if I use slots 3 and 4 instead of 1 and 2? (I checked the dual-channel pairings) - anybody have any advice?!

Thanks chaps...

Sorted - managed to safely remove memory without having to move HSF, and they're safely over in slots 3 & 4. Fingers crossed that's not an issue in itself!

Bit of a sod though - this means that if I want to get another memory kit in the future I'll have to replace the CPU cooler aswell... grrr!
