Arctic freezer 7 pro alternative?

While searching on here, I have read a few posts where people's temps have gone up after switching from a stock cooler to a freezer 7 pro which concerns me. It also seems that some people find it hard to fit because of it's size. It needs to be able to fit a GA_P35P_DS3R

Is there another good alternative to the Actic Freezer 7 pro in the same sort of price range> if it's easier to fit, that would be a bonus too.

Thanks

Have you got the Arctic Freezer Pro blowing air through to a Case Exhaust fan at the rear of the case? there is no better cooler for the same price range. Next best one is a Scythe Ninja

Have not got one yet but need to buy today really so wanted possible alternatives. But if there are none at this price point I guess I'll just get one and hope I'm one of the happy people.

Took the words out of my mouth, i have an freezer 7 pro and its amazing for the price and i fitted mine quite easy tbh, i wouldnt swap it for anything in its price range.

I gotta say, the AC7pro is the best HSF i've ever used. I've overclocked my e2160 from 1.8Ghz to 2.7Ghz, and the highest it's ever gone at load is 62 degrees

Im using an arctic freezer 7 pro and my E6300 has been at 3.22 pretty much since i got it, and when the fan is on full i idle at 47.

When fan isnt on full, idle @ 50, full load @ 50 (fan management)

AF7 works , on 2 accounts. Its cheap as chips, and indeed cools the cpu well. Think thats it really(some however are not as quiet as others!). Better coolers are a plenty, but ive 2 freezer 7`s, and both work well , providing you have good case cooling mind you !

have to say i dont think there are many coolers easier to fit than the ac7, all the motherboard clips are fairly easy to access.

as already mentioned for price/performance you should be fine with it.
