Arctic Freezer 7 Pro & Gigabyte DS3

Has anyone found that that the Arctic Freezer 7 Pro doesn't fit on the DS3 board if you want to direct the fan airflow towards the back of the case? The fat NB heatsink gets in the way.

I had to have the fan blow towards the NB heatsink, in the direction of the video card. I seem to get good temps (28 C idle) plus it keeps the NB cool which is a bonus.

Is your Freezer 7 Pro one of the new ones? Maybe they've changed?

Mine has the circular fan and cage type assembly, as per the pics in the full specification link?

Thx guys, I've been a bit stupid because I just realised that the fan blows the air through the fins of the heatsink and not away from it. I tried to position the Freezer Pro in the opposite direction to the EKSparky's picture..doh

I think I will leave it as it is now with the fan blowing air to the roof of my case.
