Arctic freezer 7 pro question

Other than noise.

Is it OK to run this cooler at max speed by disabling fan control in the BIOS?

Is there any reason why I should not do this? Will it cause any problems?

Do most people that overclock do this?

Think I will do it then as I tried it once and couldn't hear it over my psu anyway.

Just seems wrong some how.

Does anyone else do this?

I had it at disabled/full speed for a while, but now have it temp controlled. I guess it depends on your temps. My E6300@3ghz runs at 38 idle 58 load, with it set to temp controlled.

With it full speed all the time, the only thing to benefit was my idle temp, and I could hear the fan pretty clearly over the rest of my system.
