Long story lost my backplate for my Arctic freezer 240 aio for LGA 1200, can't seem to find one anywhere not even available on their website, contacted them but not available.
Can anyone help, will any other backplate fit, only had it a. Month.

Thx

If it's for AMD doesn't it use the existing AMD backplate on the motherboard? If I recall correctly you have to remove the top part that the normal cooler clips onto which leave you with the stock backplate and you fit the mounting screws to the threaded uprights in the backplate. If it's for Intel OCUK sell a LGA1700 upgrade kit for a very reasonable fiver. LGA1700 has mounting holes 78mm apart compared to 1200's 75mm but the backplate in this kit appears to have holes for both sockets so it looks like it will do the job.

Im going to use standard fan for time being just waiting for the motherboard to turn up today. Am ordering the 1700 one from Germany only a fiver just a little wait for it.
