Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. :)

I've had my latest build for around 6 months now and have just got round to getting a nice case for it.

I also off the bat bought the Arctic Freezer Pro 7 in hope to keep my system as cool as possible. My case also has 2 140mm fans (Jet turbine intake at front, exhaust at back) and a standard 80mm fan on the case. I register a system temperature of 22 aswell.

So I'm running the Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 at 3.0Ghz (Slightly overclocked) and it idles at 37 one core and 40 on the other. But this is the same as my idle temperatures. I understood that the AFP7 was meant to reduce temperatures by a large margin, are these temperatures adequate for this HSF?

Thanks!

On another note, I've overclocked my processer from 2.5ghz to 3.0ghz (I think anyway:P) and all I did was change the FSB to 240*12.5(Can't change multiplier) but on Everest it says @2.5ghz. 3000mhz the thing what just makes me ponder is why it says 2.5ghz?

And lastly, when should I think about changing my V core if I per say wanted to go to 3.5ghz? Thanks!:D

Sorry for the sloppy layout and ammount of questions!

For the cpu temps, try and see if you can twist the cooler while its attached. If it twists, you may have to do it up tighter (if possible). Sometimes you'll only notice a temp difference on your load temps - try priming or IBT'ing it. If it goes too high, you haven't installed the heatsink properly.

As for increasing vCore, just test it with a prime or IBT to make sure its stable, if not... then up the voltage by one notch. Make sure you get the temps down more before you do that, as you may not be cooling it properly.
