Hi,

Yesterday I found some MX3 online and ordered it after seeing favourable reviews.
Not long after actually ordering it I noticed a review saying there had been a dodgy batch.
I realise it is no longer supplied but as it has an eight year life thought I was onto a winner.
Has anyone here used it with any problems (temperature and paste/oil separation)?

Cheers

Ah ok thanks, well it will arrive today so I guess I will soon be able to compare it to my trusty 'quite old' Akasa 450.

You're likely not to get a dodgy batch i reckon. Never liked MX3 though, 2 and 4 are better imo :)

Yes the paste was fine, in fact my temps have dropped by 5 degrees with a higher room ambient whilst testing the MX3 so very good results.
Perhaps I tightened my cooler down a touch more but impressive all the same.

What did you not like about the MX3 as the consistency seems quite good (not too thick/thin)?
