I'm shortly going to be ordering a load of stuff to upgrade my current machine (essentially I'll be building a brand new rig really).

I've found a couple of tubes of AS5 (Arctic Silver 5) paste among my old/saved computer bits (never know when I'll need another power splitter, or something! hehe). I'm pretty sure these have been lying around for a year, maybe two now... would they still be useable or am I much better-off buying a new tube when I order the rest of my stuff?

They will be fine. There is no best before date so I really wouldnt worry.

I have read that they do keep better if you keep them cold though, so I keep my tubes in the fridge :)

The compound does seperate slightly according to the website but im sure itll be fine, it says to store them nozzle down so that any seperation will take place at the back of the tube.
