Arctic Silver 5 - Not needed?

Hi all

just ordered my new rig which includes a 3700+ SD Retail....and was told by overclockers that i dont need thermal paste because of the pad that comes with the stock heatsink and fan....

is this correct....

Yup - unless you have a preference for as5 no need to get any.

just what i wanted to hear....

will spend all night tomorrow putting together my new rig and then trying network my computer with the mrs's.... :confused:
