I will have to remove my heat sink etc fropm my E6600 and was wondering which of these would be the best to use?

Im guessing they would both do the job, but is one any better than the other?

Any advice appreciated :)

Your unlikely to see any performance difference at all tbh. I tend to use AS5 on most things and AC on my cpu as its supposedly better for lower temps(I use phase cooling)

If you want to skip the whole 200hour waiting period that you get with AS5 you want to try using Jetart's Ck4800 diamond paste. It has instant conductivity and performs pretty much the same as AS5 that has been on for ages.

I'm a ceramique user and am very happy! Used various paste's (but not AS5  ) and the ceramique has always worked best for me by 2-3 degrees minimum! :)

Have it on my overclocked Opty under a Scythe Ninja right now!

i prefer ceramique over silver as well, just seemed to work best for me, same application, ceramique seems to perform slightly better :) its also non-conductive
