There are some reference that suggest that Arctic Silver Epoxy can be diluted with normal Arctic Silver. For example this statement is from the Overclockers product pages

If you do not follow the instructions for diluting the adhesive with Arctic Silver Thermal Compound, any components you attach together with full-strength Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive will stay attached forever.

However, I have visited the Arctic Silver website and viewed the instructions online and they make no mention of diluting the epoxy.

So my questions are:

(i) Can the Epoxy be diluted (so it is not as strong) by adding normal AS compound
(ii) What ratios should be used

Thanks,

Nigel

before i attached my northbridge hs i did a test with 60/40 AS epoxy and AS3, instead of going solid it went kind of rubbery so not quite as perminent. it will still probably be difficult to remove but should come off after heating and twisting, not that i'll ever need to remove the hs i guess.
