Are 123-reg as crap as I think they are?

As title really. Oh and can anyone recommend who to transfer my domains to? I'm specifically looking for someplace to hold a .eu domain that 123-reg started charging me for early last month but still haven't released!

I have been charged for an .eu domain, and it hasn't been released yet.

Why don't you just be patient?

In my experience (on behalf of my clients), they certainly can be. Problem is they're a large company so experiences vary

As for other .eu registrars, how about this lot - never used them though, just Googled.

and in my experience, on behalf of my clients, they are pretty good.

Like you said, varying experiences. But they've been around a while, and recieve a lot of custom - so they're doing something right.

123-reg have gone down hill over the past 6 months.

i hear nothing but complaints nowadays.

Patience is one thing but you'd think they'd at least send a courtesy e-mail to let me know what's going on.

If you want a decent domain registrar use www.registron.co.uk.

I have over 80 domains with them and have no problems at all.

PS: For the .eu domains you'll need to email through to [email protected]

I asked but sadly they don't do .eu yet.
