are 360 controllers plug and play on win 7 64 bit

thanks for that peeps i'll give it a go later. might make splinter cell a bit easier to control it's a pita with keyboard even with my G13 it feels awkward

Just got mine this morning, 360 controller for windows (wired). Tried my buddies wireless controllers connecting using the charge and play adapter without success (its not possible). But you can buy a PC wireless 360 reciever.
Apparently not all controllers (wired or wireless) are PC compatible, but the drivers should automatically install and the device recognized in windows and any games you start up immediately, if the controller is compatible.

Anyone here know how to enable trigger buttons for it for San Andreas? if so can you provide a link please, thanks.

Says it's not free, i do not mind paying for it but do not wish to use Paypal, any other ideas? thanks for the suggestion though.

Wow! I have a very old version and they didn't charge for it back then, looks like the new version has some fancy features.

I'm sure if you google around you can find the free version legally. I use version 5.3 which... yep here's a link to download it but I only flicked through it quickly. Just double check if that's all above board.
