Are 360 HDD's swappable?

As title, can 360 HDD's be swapped between consoles? I'm guessing so seeing as you can buy them off the shelf, but just wondered if you can put a HDD that came with one console onto another?

Yep, the 360 itself has no means of storage.

They can be swapped yeah. Only problem I had doing it is I can no longer automatically sign in, I have to do it manually, unless there's a setting I haven't seen.

There is a setting, can't remember where and daughters watching 'Finding Nemo' for the 1000th time so I can't look it up, which flags whether you automatically sign in or not.

Under Profile settings where you can also change your motto, area (pro, recreation etc..) details

You can even swap between different region machines.

you can swap them, but we had a few problems with arcade games, i probably was doing something wrong though

You have to be signed into your Live account to play any of your arcade games on another console I think.

lol my daughter's exactly the same, I tried to mix it up with A Bug's Life but she wasn't interested.
