are Air Filters worth it?

I haven't used these before, and there are quite a few brands out there. Is any one kind recommended over another, or are they all much the same? I have a Zalman Z9 Plus case if it makes a difference.

Also, are they generally just supposed to be placed in front of the intake fans?

im getting a meaco airvax less house dust less in pc not that i get a lot but it annoys the hell out of me coming home and looking at anything black and shiney in the sunlight has a layer of dust no matter how often you dust it it just start all over again

so im hoping buy one of these filter systems stiops me having to wipe stuff off so much..

its the sort of dust you notice in the sunlight that collects on your tv stand arrrrgghhh annoys me to hell
 
Sorry mate but you will still have dust. The biggest problem with dust in paint jobs in big walk-in paint booths is human skin... and painters are in complete body suits while painting. ;) Before the paint everything is cleaned, huge fan/filter system is moving clean air in and pushing all old air out.

na was thinking that i also have A/C to cool the room temp with my pc in it ducted to the outside, so i guess all that going it should be ok

i just dont like coming home looking at stuff and seeing particles of dust on it ..
