Good day all.
As per the title are all ADSL microfilters the same?
ADSL vs ADSL2+, ect.
I understand that all a microfilter does is filter the low freq for use with the analog side of the line, and that the ADSL it's self is unfiltered.
Does that mean, if I was not to use any analog phones, I could with the right lead plug the ADSL router directly into the BT master test socket?
I ask, as today I am having a lot of internet connection drops, I phoned my ISP, and they say it's a hardware issue my end.
So I wish to test with no microfilter and no analog phones connected to the line.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards.
