Are all kettle leads/power cables created equally?

I just purchased a CyberPower UPS (CP1500EPFCLCDUK) and it has 4x IEC C13 sockets on the back and 2 x UK 3-pin sockets. I'm going to plug an extension lead (IEC C14 plug to 4 x UK 3-pin socket) into 1 of the IEC C13 sockets on the UPS and run my monitor and speakers off of that. Here's what I'm concerned about:

I want to connect my PSU (Antec TruePower 650W) directly into one of the IEC C13 sockets on the UPS using a third party IEC320C13 to IEC320C14 cable and I'm simply wondering is this safe to do?

Thanks

That's how they're supposed to be used. I'm not sure what you think could be a problem.
Oh good. I was wondering if there were different version or ratings I should be aware of that might be a problem. But it sounds like all power supply cables are created equally after all
