Mate of mine in Uni has an awesome pair of wireless headphones.

I shall try and find out what the make of his are for you. :)

I have those Sennheisers you posted, and they really do the trick. Cracking headphones.

It depends. Sometimes wirelss headphones. I used to own a pair of Thomson wireless headphones and they were ok. Now using some Sennheisers and while the audio they produce is better you will find that sometimes the wire is getting stuck underneath the chair and little stuff like that. I am pretty sure that those Sennheiser in the picture above will do a nice job though.

I've tried the RF130s, the quality is pretty good, in comparison with good wired ones they're not really a match, but they're definitely worth a look

I use Philips wireless headphones for both my telly and xbox (different locations) and I think their very good. For the convenience you can beat wireless tbh.

I have the old HDR-85 Sennheiser Wireless Headphones, very good imo. I bought my bro the new Wireless Sennheiser Headphones like the OP posted (from the same site ;) ) and they are nice! Not as comfy imo but will probably take awhile for the leather to wear and settle on the ear pieces (the old HDR-85's are like a soft velour).

I love the fact you can just listen to say music or a dvd and can get up to get a drink or nip to the loo and not miss anything. lol. Wires are so cumbersome. :p

If music is important to you you'll be disappointed in time by the poor audio quality of wireless cans. However, they'll probably do for the bangs and shrieks in games. For audio quality wireless and 5.1 'phones are at the toy end of the market. Nothing wrong with that as such, just as long as you know what your buying.

Other posters on this thread have posted their positive views on the wireless 'phones they've chosen. This post is not intended to challenge their choices but rather to add an alternative view. In my experience it is unwise to choose a product simply on the grounds that some blokes on a forum happens to have bought it and like it. Have you browsed the forums on headfi.org or avforums? There is a great deal of useful user knowledge and experience posted there.

Enjoy whatever you buy.
