I beleive most of the big name PSU's have a similar failure rate, my old antex 380 used to have nice stable outputs on it's various lines, but so does my brothers Hiper 580watt and my current Akasa 460.
One thing that is worth remembering when looking at PSU's is that Antec whislt having a 3 year warrantee is based in Sweden or somewhere similar, which means if you have to RMA it after the first year it's going to cost a fair bit, and take longer than an RMA to an office in the U.K. (some of the PSU manufacturers have offices in the UK).
I had two Smartpower 430s DOA in a row. Ended up with a Tagan. Also there are accepted compatibility problems with early version sof the NeoHE series with a raft of motherboards. Buyer beware to be honest unless you can be very sure of which version of which PSU you are getting.
