Are any of you running 4K displays yet?

Yeah, tried running one of those dirt cheap Seiki 4K monitors at work...

39" is too large for a monitor IMO. I have to move my face to see the corners of the screen at a distance where I can still read the text.

Using the new retina mode in 10.9.3 doesn't help either. 4K is 'only' 1080P doubled, so you lose a lot of screen real estate.

I've ditched the monitor now. I'll wait until the current 27" cinema displays to go retina. :)

Awesome Tunney. Were you running all the screens from your 15" rMBP? If so how did it perform and do you have the 750m model?

Yeah, I have the more expensive of the two current rMBP models. It ran the 4K monitor just fine once I'd updated to the latest OS X 10.9.3 beta (thus enabling 60Hz mode via HDMI). Running the MBP's screen and another screen at the same time didn't seem to cause any issues either.

Portal 2 ran OK-ish in 4K mode but I did have everything turned up to max.
