Are apple licenses transferable?

Hey there, I've being buying quiet a bit of apple software for my new iMac recently. i was just wondering, if in a years time if I sell my iMac and get a MBP, can I legally use my software on my macbook pro if I removed the software from my iMac first?

If there was a company that DIDN'T allow this nobody would buy that product!

The only software I know of that comes with a computer-based restriction is OEM - but that's more Windows than Mac.
