Are Athlons x86 processors in terms of Linux?

I wish to download SUSE Linux, but could someone clarify something for me?

The two options I have are:

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 for x86

SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 for AMD64 and Intel EM64T

I have an Athlon Barton 3200. So I need to download the x86 version, correct?

Yep, you need the 32-bit version, called x86. If you had a 64-bit processor (AMD Athlon 64 and newer, Intel Prescott and newer for the most part) you would get to choose between 32 and 64-bit operation.

Ok, thanks. Wasn't sure if it was only Intels that were x86.
