are bluetooth mice anygood?

was considering a bluetooth mouse to use with a laptop with built in bluetooth.

Is the tech as good as standard wireless mice? Is the range shorter ? more problematic ?

Never had any issues with my cheapo Kensington one, range is less that normal wireless iirc but I've not had it cause any issues.

The range is supposedly 10m or 100m - in reality you can expect 8 and 80 respectively.

just bought one of the microsoft 5000 bluetooth ones
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-098-MS&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=1276 opened it up, fitted batteries, paired it with my samsung nc10 and job done. works great even if i switch it off (power switch underneath) then use it again later - no need to repair with laptop bluetooth (although i have just been hibernating it rather than fully switching off so far)
