Are Cadillac a GM Company?

...i'm not sure!

I'm playing a "Guess the car make/model/year" game on Facebook, and one of the cars that came up was the "Cadillac Catera".

...identical to the Vauxhall Omega!

Wasn't sure if Cadillac was a GM company, or just one of those cars that they "bought" the designs for?

welcome to the world of american automobiles

ford has the same with a few mercury/cougar models
but GM is the main one, Saabs can be found as cadillacs..
and the impreza was sold as a Saab in the US too at one point..

there are loads..

First thing that comes to mind with a Holden Nova is that it is a rebadged Opel but no it's actually a Toyota Corolla!
