I'm currently using a Dell 2311H, which is wonderful, especially since I borrowed some hardware to calibrate it. But now I'm considering a 480 which would (at the moment) require a switch from DVI to DP. No problem doing that, but would I lose my calibrated profile?
Are colour calibrations specific to input mode/GPU?

the profile will still be there, you might just have to re-enable it
