Hi,
Anyone know if the 650 G2 cables are compatible with the 850W/1000W G5?
It would be easy to switch out the old PSU without re-cabling up the PC if they are.
Thanks.

Possibly not because Superflower built the G2 but it looks like that partnership is over due to US tariffs so the G5 is built by FSP. Looking at reviews the G5 series is inferior to the Superflower units and Tomshardware weren't particularly impressed with it. I personally wouldn't buy one and would be looking at Corsair, Seasonic, Phanteks, Superflower instead. Even the Asus ROG Strix 1000w (built by Seasonic) is a good psu if you can find it for a good price but it's usually more expensive than other brands.

Was hoping to avoid replacing all the wires and re-using cablemod kit. Will probably get a Superflower or Seasonic then.
Thanks.
