I seem to always get some packet loss (retransmission) with Mlab's speed test, available here:
https://speed.measurementlab.net/#/
But, if I limit the upstream sync speed of my connection to <1mbps, there is no retransmission of packets reported.
I'm beginning to wonder if this test is accurate, as some on these forums with FTTP connections have reported some retransmission also.
Using Google Stadia, I get very little packet loss (<0.01%) , especially if QOS is enabled on my router. So, perhaps this is a better test of packet loss?
There's an older test here that specifically reports packet loss, I wonder if it's a better test? There's a lot more detail given in the results.
