Are modded Oblivion saves easy to back up?

I've obtained a copy of Shivering Isles, and Knights of the Nine is on the way, so I was wondering of my oblivion saves will be easily transferrable. I'm intending to wipe the game, because the high-res texture packs are causing stuttering in the world environment. I can find the files alright, but Oblivion's quicksave feature is so quick that I'm skeptical about it storing all the necessary details. How would I go about doing this, considering all the other mods (herbalism, keychain, potion names, quest item/spell levelling, DarkUI, a colour map and a lesse levelling overhaul [slower skill progression and 12 major skills to a level rather than 10], as well as unofficial patch to the highest version) I've got installed and saved for this purpose? Anything I should know?

Mods make no differences to saving, with one exception: if you fire up the new game without them, the first time you'll get an annoying warning message. The saves are quick because the game constantly saves the game state: this is why you can sometimes recover a crashed game.

I've moved saves from built to build loads of times: you'll be fine. Just place the files in the correct location, fire up the game and then load a saved game.

So long as you include all the mods you had before it won't matter. If you don't then it might cause problems anywhere from being playable but you won't have certain items or complete corruption.
