Hi All,

was wondering if someone can tell me if my temps are high

My set up is as follows

INtel Core Duo e6600
Abit AW9D-Max motherboad
4 Gbit Geil Ram
ATI 1950 XTX

When I sold my previous set up I also got rid of the Zalman fan I had on my AMD processor

My temps are as follows, Graphics card, Average 55 - 68 non clocked

CPU no clocked 49+

Was thinking of getting another Zalman to quieten down the box and also a Fan for the Graphics cards

Cheers

Stuart

Hi,

Graphics card is around normal they seem to run hot, CPU seems high what cooler are you using.

that's roughly idle, I have the stock heat sinks on at the mo.

Going to change the processor one to a Zalman I think, are they still the best

They seem fine, perhaps a little high for the e6600.

As long as the card doesn't reach 100c and the CPU doesn't reach 65c under load, don't worry.

them temps seem about right, i found that after 80c basically 81 c will cause it to happen the graphics card begins to artefact and stops processin frames etc, i found out the hard way by not seating waterblock properly when i changed to water  its fine now luckily and like said about the processor just make sure that the temperature does not exceed 65c at load, although on the gpu with the stock cooler at stock clocks its pretty hard to overheat it almost impossible :D
