This what I'm getting after running tomb raider for a few hours. Ambient temperature is between 24/25 degrees.

System is:
AMD Phenom II 955 @ 3.7GHz
Radeon HD 6970 @960/1500

The loop comprises the following:
XSPC D5 vario at 4
alphacool XT45 240mm rad + 2x GT1850 on pull (air out of top)
XSPC EX240 240mm rad + 2x fans on push (air forced out beneath case)
Both blocks were fitted using AS5.
There are 3x 120mm fans & a 140mm fan pulling air into the case. (1x front, 2x side and 1x rear)

The config is:
res/pump > XT45 > CPU > GPU > EX240

This is what i was getting before using just the EX240 in the top. I can see that there is some improvement, however it's not quite as much as i'd expected. Is something amiss or are my expectations too high?

CPU block is a koolance CPU-380 and the GPU block is an aquacomputer aquagratix.

I have noticed that internal case ambient temperatures can get up to 33 degrees or so. Opening my window dropped the temperature inside the case down to 24.

If it helps at all, this is how the airflow is laid out in the case. Blue arrows show cool air going into the case, red shows hot air going out.

I'm going to have a look at swapping the AS5 out just on the CPU for some PK-1. Last time i used AS5 i had awful temperatures which were improved when using PK-1. (This was back on air cooling)

Switching the CPU out to PK1 has dropped the temperatures by a fair margin. Don't understand why i have no luck with AS5. I'm going to sort the gpu block out now and see what happens overall.

Changed out all of the TIM for PK1 and this is the result after half an hour of tomb raider. Not sure why there is such a large improvement as the AS5 had spread out nicely and seemed to be making good contact.
